"Hey all!
I'm [helping out with / already bought my ticket for / interested in checking out] Madison Startup Weekend and thought you might enjoy it, too!
It’s a 54-hour collaborative marathon of creativity vs. the clock. Teams, formed beforehand or at the event, come together to try to build new companies, all in one weekend. Mentors help answer questions about copyright, marketing, tech problems, etc.
You can pitch your own idea, or join the team for an idea you like that someone else pitched.
Early-bird tickets are on sale now through mid-March for only $50 (which includes 7 meals and snacks all weekend). Read more about it at http://swmadison.com and let me know if you're interested!"
Let us share the Startup Weekend spiel with your group
Do you run a meetup group? Knitting circle? Book club? Have us come talk about Startup Weekend! Shoot us an email at madison@startupweekend.org and we'll do a #swmadison rundown for 1, 5, 15 minutes.
Organize or co-host a hype event
Jazzed about entrepreneurship? So are we! We'd love to help you set up a pitch practice workshop, idea brainstorming session, conflict resolution class ... we're all for it! Shoot us your idea and we'll help make it happen.
Able to help contribute financially?
We'd love to hear from you. Madison Startup Weekend is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization, and we work hard to keep ticket prices low so that cost isn't a barrier. If your company is interested in joining businesses like American Family Insurance and Neider & Boucher Attorneys in sponsoring Startup Weekend, let us know!
We have four sponsorship levels available (view them here); reach out to madison@startupweekend.org for details!
